Let's get this over with...
First crazy story is that Brad, Matt and I went to the new P&L movie theater because we had free tickets to see a show. We arrived there and they told us that our free ticket would only cost us $10. So being the cheap bastards we are, we quickly left and went to town center were the tickets only cost $5. We saw Angels and Demons, which was better than I expected. The highlight of the night was definitely Jon staying home.
I have played two basketball league games over this time and we are 1-1. I am roughly averaging seven points and five rebounds, which is about seven points and five rebounds more than I did in college....and the one victory is my first since freshmen basketball. Our victory was not easy because we were down double digits most of the game and then we decided to full court press and we quickly cut it to under 10. We were down four with six seconds left...we hit a three and then fouled them...they hit two free throws. So now, we are down three with three seconds left. We throw a full court pass and our guy catches it and nails a three with no time left! With all the momentum, we pulled away in overtime and won by five! Thrilling I know!
Another thing I did was join the Midwest Innocent Project which is me doing legal work for free! It is pretty cool because they help innocent people get out of jail and it gives me some legal experience. Plus, I only have to commit to two hours a week and it is a great resume builder
The most boring part of these weeks was going to Lee's Summit days and then going to Jason's for bbq....just kidding! It was crazy! At LS days, they had not one but two cover bands...GNR and ACDC! Also at Jason's they had sack toss! Cover bands and Sacks!! My two favorite things ever!
The most nerve-racking part of these weeks was going on a blind date....my mom told me not to blog about this because she thinks I am a jerk and my jokes are not funny. We went to a comedy club and it was very fun time.
The most rockin part of the week (besides GNR/ACDC) was going to see Robin Trower at the Voodoo Lounge. He came out and the first thing I thought was grandpa...he is old. He played his but off and it was a trippy show! It was fun seeing a guitar legend before he dies...
All in all it has been a busy couple weeks....other stuff I didn't talk about was going to the pool, super punch out, power hour with Jon, beating my brother in basketball and finding out what a true friend Jon is but I really do not want to blog anymore! So those stories will be lost forever.
Coming up next....basketball, MWIP, Royals game, the Lake

While everyone was enjoying their Memorial Day weekend, I was working! Yes my job requires me to work a totally opposite schedule than the rest of the world. Do not worry folks, I did get a three-day weekend to celebrate which was Tuesday through Thursday...while everyone was going back to work. My only plan for my weekend was to change my oil, which I did! So you can say I had a pretty rocking time!
A couple things did pop up over those three days, which were totally unexpected. On Tuesday, Kenny called me to go hang out and play some trivia! So Kenny, Brad, Will and I went to the Flying Saucer to play some wicked trivia. We arrived late and missed the first round but we ended up taking third place and winning a $20 gift certificate to split between us! We had such a blast that the following day we went and played trivia again at another bar. This one was totally harder trivia because it only focused on random movie trivia but with my expertise, we finished third again and won free movie passes! I think I am going to quit my job and hit the trivia circuit full time and then very quickly run out of money and kill myself!
The other random thing is that I went to the Gavin Rossdale concert! I never intended to ever go but I received an email to get free tickets and I asked Dan and he totally loves Gavin so we went. We went and to our surprise, Eric and the gang were there too and we totally held hands the whole time. The concert was really not bad at all. Gavin pretty much played Bush songs the whole night and the opener had some potential. Overall, it was well worth the free ticket and I actually enjoyed myself!
What seemed to be a boring weekend turned out to be very entertaining...hangout with friends, playing trivia and going to a concert. It is funny how things end up some times because even on Tuesday morning none of these events was in the works!
Coming Up Next...Movies, Work, Basketball and not working on the weekend!

It's been a while since I could hold my head up high and it's been a while since my last blog...Staind reference equals hilarity. It has been a month and I have grown a lot...I went from a stupid 2L to a 3L. The finals were brutal and stressful but I came out of it with less friends and low grades...yeah you can say it went well. This semester I thought was the easiest to get through but the hardest when it came to finals so it was a give and take. Only one year left until I don't have a job!
Rapid fire story time- I almost got fired from my job because I didn't check a door that has never been used in my two plus years and for some reason on my shift some jerks decided to open it and not close it. I had to write a letter and luckily for me I used the right words! Also mother's day happened and I bought her something from the tanning store and when I walked in there the five or so hot employee girls working there chuckled. Finally I did a pub crawl with Jon the Turd...basically it was us walking around downtown Lee's Summit looking like the gays we are and then going home in shame.
Now it's Vegas story time- Day one we walked around the strip for hours and for some reason we watched the fountain show multiple times while holding hands. After drinking some drinks, we decided to head back to the hotel and go to bed around 9:30pm because Dan and Jay were tired because they ate a McLamesauce sandwich earlier in the day. Matt was not pleased and yelled for hours and then we decided to go back out and leave the lame turds. Matt and I went back out, became lame turds, and watched the cool kids dance for hours.
Day two was even worse because my hotel mates and I had a poop fest contest in which I won! We went to the pool and pretty much chased all the babes away and then we headed back out to go clubbing! Clubbing was a disaster because the club didn't allow tennis shoes, which is fine, but half of us wore them. Then we split up and I ended up with Dan and Jay. We walked the strip in silence except for the occasional fart. Dan went to bed and Jason and I went and met up with the others so we could get Nick's room key so Jason could crap in their hotel room. Then we stayed out way too late, came back, and scared Dan who had been sleeping for 10 hours.
Day three was hotel room fun day. We watched Matt's favorite show Two and a Half Men then luckily that ended because we were all laughing so hard and WWE Raw rerun came on and then we got inspired and we started wrestling. After this, we headed over to the Hooters hotel but we got lost for hours even though we could clearly see it. When we got there it was clearly a crap hole and again we walked backed in shame. We walked more of the strip and then 8pm came around and Dan went to bed and us the three jerk met up with Nick so we could try to pick up chicks by sitting at the bar and not talking to any of them except for a street walker who was on duty...scratch that...Matt never got close enough to talk to her because she ran from us. Then we went to bed, woke up, and came back home.
All in all the trip was filled with pooping, wrestling, sleeping and disappointment but would I do it again? Yes, because those are my favorite thing!
Coming up next...nothing really

Hello folks, I have been in hiding the last couple of weeks due to school but I assure you I am alive! Since we last talked, I have been locked in the basement 24/7 studying! So far, I have taken two finals and finished my 16-page research paper about Immigration Law! Boring stuff I know but I still have four more finals to go until school is out for the summer! Luckily for me, school out for the summer means working security more!!
Looking ahead at the summer it should be a good one because as of now I'm going on two trips...one to Las Vegas and the other to Colorado for the a music festival! In addition to the two-day music festival in CO, I have already bought tickets to see Gov't Mule and Robin Trower and looking at who is on tour I bet the list will be much larger by the end of the summer. Also, I'm going to start working with the MO Innocent Project, which should be a great learning experience. Then fill the rest of the summer with all the books, movies and video games on my list and add some unexpected things and that is a recipe for a pretty chill summer.
I must get back to studying!
Coming up next....Finals, Finals, Work and then LAS VEGAS

Well it has been a couple of week so this probably will not include everything since my life is so Xtreme. So let's get this started!
As I recall a couple weeks ago I ate dinner with the McJasonites, Matt and Dan at a place that I cannot remember the name of...So not only was this an entertaining story but a historic one! After the dinner, Matt and I departed and headed down to the 810 zone to meet up with Kenny. When we got there, we ran into Nick and Allison and totally ignored Kenny and left to go to the P&L. While there, we drank some drinks and then god knows when Kenny showed up and we began dance, DAnce, DANCE! I also ran into my cousin and her group of friends and I drank all their beers...that's why no one wants to hangout with me.
Another thing that happened was Opening Day at the New K! We started the day at noon in the parking lot and grilled some food while everyone stood in silence. After this, we headed into the game and watched the pregame delay the game by 40 minutes. Around the fifth inning Kenny, Sirna and I walked around the stadium to check it out. We got to the outfield and there was an open spot for us in the SRO so we stood and watched the rest of the game from there and ended up not seeing the rest of the stadium. The New K is pretty cool but a new dowtown stadium probably would be cooler.
After the game Dan, Sirna and I headed down to the Voodoo lounge for the Derek Trucks concert. The concert was AWESOME. It basically was a two plus hour guitar solo and it rocked! I would definitely recommend everyone to go out and see this guy play guitar. Also, one funny thing is that before the concert, I had never seen a picture of the band and I was shocked that Derek Trucks does not sing. Yeah the first song I was like why is this big black guy singing but I eventually figured it out. Awesome show and an overall great day.
Easter also happened and I went over to my uncle's house. It was a chill time until everyone decided it was time to play basketball for two hours. The game was pretty much what you would expect from a group of small white people. Overall, it was a nice time with good food.
Finally yesterday Tot, Rasa, Matt and I decided to go to the Royals game and who knew by the end of the night I would be the most famous person in the world. We sat in the outfield seats and those are some really cool seats. There was a group of army men sitting with us and by the end of the night, they were wasted and shirtless. The good thing is that they showed them on RSTN and I was in the shot! I added a video of it in my video section but I am sure everyone saw it on the news. It was a pretty chilly night but we managed and I finally got to see the rest of the New K.
Coming UP Next...Paper, Work, Finals, Finals, Finals and more Finals

Well kids my spring break has come and gone and I think it might go down as the best yet. What did I do? Only beat GTA IV and Super Smash Bros., went to my first heavy metal concert, watched the MU tigers play some hoops, watched some movies and slept till at least noon everyday!...I also worked 48hrs and got absolutely no homework done!
A very relaxing week that was much needed with school finals right around the corner. I did work 48hrs but during the work, I started up playing the DS again and I should be beating Zelda here pretty soon! My gaming life is doing pretty well...should be able to add content to my gaming page for the first time since 2006!
On Wednesday, Dan and I went to the Voodoo Lounge to watch Black Label Society and Sevendust perform a kickass show. They both put on a cool show but it was itimidating because everyone there could kick my ass and were ready and willing to do so. Dan and I stood in the back corner not making eye contact with anyone the whole time. The one negative was the sound quality is not so good. After a handful of shows at the Voodoo and then going Lawrence for a couple shows, it is oblivious now that they need to fix something because the sound is just off. The highlight of the show was Zyke Wylde's 20min guitar solo, which kicked major booty!
I also got some new hats! I normal looking Royals hat...which is surprisingly hard to find and I bought an O'Hara baseball hat because my brother is on the team!
I'll talk more about the gaming stuff on my Video Game page later...
For it being such an awesome Spring Break I really don't have that much to write about...
Coming Up Next...Video Games, School, Work, Royals, Derek Trucks, Easter and dropping a deuce

So yesterday was the worst day of my life because I didn't get the internship with the NAIA, my boss guilted me into a 16-hour shift on a Saturday, and my ESPN streak for the cash ended at 10 games when FSU lost! That means yesterday I lost out on a career, a social life and cash money!
Looking on the bright side, not getting the NAIA internship was not a big shocker because I was not expecting to get it. Also, in applying for it I finally managed to write a solid resume which I had been avoiding to do for over a year, I also got some good prep on how to do a good interview and the guys at the NAIA were really nice and gave me some really good info for the future...so it really was not a totally loss!
Working a 16-hour shift on a Saturday totally blows but again looking on the bright side by working an extra 8 hours and not going out to the bars tonight will equal some extra cash money! By what I make and then adding what I would have spent if I went out will easily equal over a hundred dollars! That's basically my car insurance payment and one or two tanks of gas. I do lose a social life but I would have probably made a fool of myself anyways and lost the respect of my friends...so that's not a totally lost either!
Now looking at losing my streak in the game ESPN streak for the cash. The game is if you can correctly pick 27 games in a row, you will win a million dollars. I had picked 10 games in a row and then I picked FSU to win yesterday and they lost in OT! Now looking on the bright side if I would had won I would of had to pay a ton of taxes and....wait who am I fooling! I lost a million dollars! MY LIFE SUCKS!
Switching gears a bit, I had a weird dream last night....I just graduated college and I signed up to go to graduate school and when signing up for classes there was a note saying that the classes were at St. Regis (my grade school). Well I told my mom and she said I could carpool with her because she drives my little brother to O'Hara which is right next to St. Regis. Driving there and waiting in the parking lot, I felt like a was a kid again...same routine for 13 years of my life. Well my mother dropped me off and I was walking into school with nice clothes on and a backpack. I looked around and it felt weird because it was all little kids and me, a grown man. I noticed that I looked like all the other kids by what I was wearing and I was also getting weird looks from all the teachers. This is when I noticed that I mistakenly read the note about school being held at St. Regis. I then tried to sneak out but I kept running into old classmates who were teachers there now. I finally got out and called my mom to pick me up on the corner of the street....then my alarm went off! Weird stuff but I wonder what it all means? Maybe my dream is telling me to grow up or that I feel like I am stuck in the past. Maybe it means something totally different or it means nothing at all.
Well this is how my spring break started....can't wait to see what the rest of it will be like!
Coming Up Next....Work, Work, GTA V, Black Label and 7Dust concert, and internal rest

Since my last blog MIZZOU transformed from a good basketball team to BIG 12 CHAMPIONS! It all happened when all the goods teams lost to crappy teams and MU beat the teams they were supposed to. I predict MU's rein will last forever or until they lose in the first round to Cornell.
For the Championship game Dan, Matt and I went up to BWW to watch it with a crowd of two other MU fans. After that, we met up with the "two person party" and headed to Bullseyes. While there, we drank and conversed. Jon and I sang Wonderwall until 2 seconds into it when a guy took the mic away from me because he was drunk and he really loved that song. Then everyone headed over to Waffle House to eat pancakes.
Besides that, my previous week was pretty low key. I worked a couple days and went to school. Am I making Jon Mossie's liver jealous? I bet so...
My brother had to do a school project and make this mousetrap game thing so I helped him with it and here is a link to the video..... David Makes a Basket!
This site updated its blog page and in my opinion messed it up and now it's very glitchy. So enjoy that!

There have been many people that have become famous because I have
mentioned their name in this blog such as Jerk Face Mossie, Jerk Front of Head
Twillman, and Cutey Cup Dan. Now American I give you Jerky McJason and
the McComptonaires! Sorry Jason but you will probably never be able to
leave your house because of all the fans.
Well the whole
point of this blog was to say Jason Compton's name because I told him I would.
The funny part is he will never know because he does not read my blog and
in a matter of minutes, millions of people will be outside of his house.
Other
happenings besides the hilarity that just happened is that Dan and I formed a
band called "Intolerant" because we are both fructose intolerant.
We got together one of these past weekends and jammed like two people
that just recently picked up instruments for the first time. We learned
how to play the hard rocking song ?Stand by Me?. We both played at
different tempos but it was pure magic.
Also, this
past weekend we celebrated Brad leaving with a snazzy time at the piano bar and
a sweaty dance mix at the Brooksider. I assume Brad has left to Dallas by now but it would not surprise me if Brad decided to
stay because of what a snazzy time he had this past weekend.
I have also
hung out in GV couple of times, which is a couple more times, than I should.
The last time was a couple days ago where we played some pool and then
later went to some dive to sing some songs. After 15 hours of deciding
what funny song Dan should play, we ended up with "No Women, No Cry? which
is not a funny song. Well after Dan's performance, I will be assuming the
role of lead singer in Intolerant.
There might be
other stuff but I think I hit all the high points...As if I had to tell you
these were high points!
I will be
seeing Black Label Society and Sevendust in a couple of weeks...which is sweet.
Coming up
next....Homework, work, flexing and pondering
